The Debut Collection: Edition I – The Art of Elegance

Every Epitoma piece is designed and made in Italy by artisans with inherited knowledge passed down through generations. Each cut and seam is treated with the same reverence as a brushstroke on canvas. We have always believed that true elegance begins with intention; for Epitoma women, luxury is found in the process of precision.

 

The Art of Elegance

Edition I – The Art of Elegance marks the first chapter of our vision. Inspired by classical Renaissance art and sculpture, the collection is a study in silhouette, craftsmanship, and quiet power; an exploration of form and feeling that blurs the boundary between art object and lingerie. 

The fabrics, sourced from Europe’s finest mills, include luminous silks and intricate French lace that breathes with the body. The result is a collection that feels timeless yet contemporary; sensual yet disciplined; a portrait of the modern woman as both muse and master of her own mythology.

 

The Campaign: The Collector

To bring this narrative to life, we turned to one of London’s most evocative spaces: The Wallace Collection. Its gilded salons and marble halls became the stage for our campaign film and photography - a dialogue between art, history, and womanhood.

In the film, a woman glides through the gallery in silence, her presence as commanding as the paintings that surround her. Beyond the public galleries, she discovers a door marked Private Collection. Here, in this hidden archive, rests her own collection - garments by Epitoma, arranged like relics. Silk sets, lace corsets, and sculpted bodices are pieces to be collected, studied, and ultimately worn.

The Collection

Every piece in Edition I carries a quiet purpose. Signature pieces include:

The Artemisia Robe, inspired by Artemisia Gentileschi’s mastery of light and defiance, drapes over the body like chiaroscuro through lace. The Tenebrist Corset, with its sculpted waist, recalls the poised confidence of Renaissance portraiture. And The Medici Bodice, with its soft architectural lines, pays tribute to the interplay of shadow and form - structured without constraint.

Together, these pieces form the foundation of Epitoma’s design language: timeless, tactile, and rooted in the art of precision.
